H48 was a built by William
Beardmore of Dalmuir, and was
commissioned in 1919. Her weight was 423 tonnes, with a length of 171 feet.
She became a training vessel, as seen here with three sister ships. This
class of Subs were used by such diverse navies as Canada, USA, Chile, Italy,
Russia, and the Royal Navy|
