Description - Tram crashes over embankment in Ramsgate
Date - 1905 (date of posting) 3rd August 1905 is the date of the accident.

Used: Posted at RAMSGATE SP 3 05 with a superb small size squared circle postmark - addressed to:- Gynn, Station Road, March, Cambridgeshire - slightly stained and showing pressure marks from where it has been held in an album for many years
Condition -  Almost perfect corners - excellent condition.
Further Information - A printed black & white card showing the aftermath of the accident. It can clearly be seen where the railings have been swept away by the runaway tram. The tram - No 41 - lies on its side at lower left. There were no fatalities, and little other injury. Look at the crowd of people, standing there in the pouring rain, as if they were going to see something.
