Used:  A ½d green stam of Edward VII Cancelled LONDON (271) NO 27 13 - Addressed to Marshall, Southowram, Halifax.
Stamp Box: not visible
Condition: Generally, very pleasing. Corners have soe wear, and there is a light crease from the lower marging about a quarter on the way in from the right.
Further Information: The London & Provincial Bank Ltd eventually finished up as Barclays, although it looks like the building was demolished, and NatWest now occupy the new premises. The sender says that he met the Mayor of Ipswich- Mr William Pipe (1913-1914). Lots of activity with three trams of Ipswich Corporation Tramways.
