Condition - Excellent condition - photograph card
Further Information - Launched in 1912 by the Allan Line, and commisioned in Jan 1914 as the S.S. Alsatian. A few months later WW1 started and her role was changed to an Armed Merchant Cruiser. After her illustrious war service she was re-fitted and renamed the "Empress of France" in 1919. She then spent an un-eventful life sailing the seas of the world until she was retired in 1931. She was scrapped in 1933 at Dalmuir - 20000 grt
