Further Information - The building of the Campania commenced in 1891 entering service in 1893. On her second Altlantic crossing she won the "Blue Riband" award for the fastest crossing. The following year, her younger sister ship "R.M.S. Lucania" won the award and held it for 5 years. Campania was sunk in collision with "H.M.S. Glorious" in 1918 - 12950 grt
