Description
: The R.M.S."MAJESTIC" - Was built in Hamburg as the S.S. Bismark,
but war interrupted her completion and her only journeys under the German
flag were her Sea Trials in 1922. When completed she was handed over to
Britain as War Reparation. In service for the White Star Line from
1922 to 1934 when the company became Cunard White Star Line. She was retired
in 1937 and became a Royal Navy Training Ship the H.M.S. "CALEDONIA. She
caught fire and sank two years later. |
