- The "Berengaria"
at sea. This ship had an interesting history. It was launched in 1912 and
became the S.S. Imperator, a German Passenger Liner owned by Holland-America
Line. In 1919, at the end of WW1, it was renamed U.S.S. Imperator and taken
to America. After 6 months it was sold to Cunard who renamed it the R.M.S.
Berengaria, until 1934 when it became part of the Cunard White Star fleet.
It was scrapped sometime during WW2.
