Subject: -  Le Grand Palais des Beaux Arts, Paris - built for the 1900 Exhibition. This card was posted from Paris the day before the exhibition opened, and was received in Ilford on the actual opening day. This was a great year for Paris, as they held the summer Olympics there as well, both running concurrently.

Used:  with 2 x 5 centimes green stamps with 3 cancellations from PARIS - R. PIERRE-GUERIN - Addressed to Robson, Mayfair Avenue, Cranbrook Park, Ilford Essex - Also a receiving handstamp from ILFORD for 11am the following day.
Condition: Very good condition. It has pressure marke in the corner from longterm album storage, and a very small crack at the extreme lower right corner.
