Used: ½d green stamp of Edward VII cancelled "DUBLIN JY 6 07" - addressed to :-Credland, Nottingham Street, Sheffield Farnborough, Hants. Note that Ireland used British stamps at that period.
Condition - Top right corner bumped, other 3 corners mimimal wear.  printed photo card. Official L & N W issue
Further Information - The S.S. ANGLIA entered service in 1900, and had a relatively quiet career 'back and to' on the Irish run, until the outbreak of WW1 in 1914. She was then requisitioned by the Government as a Hospital ship, and became H.M.H.S. ANGLIA. In 1915 she was sunk by a German mine a mile off Folkeston. Many people were rescued but 134 died in the water. 1862 grt
