Size in mm (approx) - 145 x 100

Publisher's Card No. - Valentines Series - Famous Throughout the World - Not numbered - Back printed in grey
Used: Has had a ½d green stamp of Edward VII (now partly removed) cancelled with a Colchester squared circle postmark. There is no obvious address or message on the back, but it must had had those details at one time, as without them, there would be no cancel. Possibly the details were written in pencil, and subsequently rubbed out.
Condition - A good looking card with some wear to the corners
Further Information - An Official Issue postcard from this Exhibition/Exposition to celebrate the "Entente Cordiale" between England and France. The back has "Post Card" in English and French "Carte Postale". The two opposing arms of the 'flip-flap' travelled from level to level through 180 degrees, giving the public a birds-eye view of the Expo area. All the buildings of this 140 acre (56 hectare) site have now been demolished, except for part of the Japanese Garden, and a few tiles which are preserved within the Television Centre. The 'Flip-Flap' was sent for scrap in 1937.
