Location - SYCHNANT PASS, North Wales. Between Conway & Dwygyfylchi, near Penmaenmawr. There was no coast road in those days - this was THE ROAD.
Date - c.1913 - dated from postmark, and other cards posted from the same sender to the same recipient.
Size in mm (approx) - 139 x 90
Printer - Hamilton Foyn, Photo Artist, Penmaenmawr
Printer's Card No. - 7509
Used: part of a large series of postcards sent between two friends - the date looks like 1913 with a very rare handstamp from the small village post office at CAPELULO, halfway through the Sychnant pass.
Condition - a very small fold at the top right corner, and that's it - otherwise perfect.
Further Information - This is a lovely card with loads of detail on it, showing a 'coach and four' with (what looks like) 20 people on the top, and maybe a few more inside. Behind it are numerous walkers, a cyclist, and two single horse buggies - a super sepia picture of life before 'Health & Safety' kicked in.
