Used: A 1d red stamp of George V cancelled GLASGOW 1 MAY 1931. It carries a hand-stamp "PAQUEBOT POSTED AT SEA". It also has a 1d red Postage Due Stamp due to underpayment of the correct postage. This postage due stamp is cancelled "SOUTH MILFORD" 2 MY 31. Additionally there is a further handstamp of the receiving office at PONTEFRACT YORKS 2 MY 31. Pontefract has been crossed out from the address as the village of BURTON SALMON is nearer to Selby. The card is addressed to Webster. At the bottom of the card is a further handstamp 1D TO PAY
Condition - A minor fold in each corner where the card has been held in an album by 'photo-corners'
Information - Sunk by a German torpedo in October 1942
