Description : Probably the most well known & beautiful bridge across the River Seine in Paris. "Le Pont Alexander III" was opened for the 1900 celebrations of the National & International Exposition, and the Olympic Games, both held in the Summer of that year. The very ornate "Art Nouveau" bridge is dedicated to the Russian Tsar Alexander the Third in recognition of the two countries signing the Franco-Russian Alliance in 1892
