Description : A great view of the "REEL" at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, probably taken in the 1960's. More correctly named the "Virginia Reel" it took its name from Luna Virginai Riehl, the daughter of the inventor of the ride, Mr Henry Eimer Riehl of New York. The daughter's first name is taken from the original Luna Park, at Coney Island U.S.A.
Date : c.1960's - the Blackpool ride opened in 1920 and lasted until 1980.
