It is addressed to Countess Duffour de Raymond, Château de Lagrange, Cesson, Seine-et-Marne. The Countess was Jeanne Clary (1853-1922), Heiress to Château  Thil with numerous members of European Royalty in the family. Château Thil is linked to Château Lafitte by a Royal Drive, and the were closely connected in their daily lives. Château Lafitte, the producer of the world's finest wines, is now called Château Smith Haut Lafitte. It would appear that the Countess was on holiday "up North" as the card was posted in the area of the Château Lafitte (in the South west) and the card is of a Château in the mid-west.
