Used : A 25c orange stamp of Ceres (the Sower) cancelled LIMOGES-GARE, HAUTE VIENNE (France). The slogan on the cancel is "LIMOGES" "SES PORCELAINS" "SES CHAUSSURES" meaning Limoges - its Porcelains - its Footwear. It is addressed to Nicolle, Molay, Annay sur Serein, France
Condition :Excellent with good corners. some light small stains on the back. some postal cancel marks on the front from the cancelling equipment.
Further Information : This station was built for the Orléans-Montauban Railway. It was opened in 1929, and is reputedly the most beautiful station in the whole of Europe
