Condition The ship is on the Manchester Ship Canal. The Bridgewater Canal Aquaduct is open, and the arched bridge behind it carries a local road across the canal. In the song "The big ship sails up the ally-ally-oh" the Manchester ship canal was the "ally-ally-oh".
Further Information Corners and edges a little worn, and some minor damage caused to heavy used of the London handstamp. Over-all an excellent looking card.
