Condition - light wear to the corners, and edges
Further Information - SIR HIRAM MAXIM'S CAPTIVE FLYING MACHINE to give it its full title was aimed at giving the public an experience of flying - one of his own obsessions. It was a great success for many decades and has modern counterparts in many fairgrounds today. The Water Chute was opened in 1903, followed by the Helter-Skelter, and the Cable Car.
