Further Information - Just to the right of centre, the predominantly white building is the home of the Bank - The arch above the doorway has a very clear bank name. Real photo postcard of a very busy street scene in Chester taken from the Roman Wall. Many people, motor cars, and an open-top tram in the foreground. The tram is car No 5, introduced around 1903 on the 3' 6" gauge tramway until the service was closed in 1930.  The vehicle parked in the left foreground PF3599 was registered in Surrey in 1926.
