Location - TRANSPORTER BRIDGE, Nantes, North West France  - The Transporter Bridge (Pont Transbordeur) is a rarity amongst bridges of the world, as the total number ever built is only in the low 20's, with about half that surviving today. The card show the nacelle (gondola) just one third of the way across to the right bank of the River Loire, passing behind the ship. The bridge was completed in 1903 and demolished in 1958. The ship appears to be named the "Romania"
