Description : London & North Western Railway Royal Train, hauled by a Webb "Teutonic" Class locomotive , number 410, and named "City of Liverpool". The wheel arrangement is unusual 2-2-2-0. This arrangement theoretically can't exist under the White's Classification - only if the middle two numbers are bracketted - e.g. 2-(2-2)-0. This is one pair of leading bogies - one pair of large unpowered main wheels - one pair of large powered main wheels, and no further bogie wheels needed to suport the cab.

Condition : This card is remarkably well printed and gives an overall look of 'photo quality'. Some wear to the corners, a drawing pin hole top centre, and a small piece of the surface missing at top left, but this shows a white under-surface against a white sky - so almost un-discernable.
