Location - LONDON, Poultry, Cheapside - The Mansion House and the UNION of LONDON & SMITHS BANK - The place is awash with horse drawn buses, and coaches. The Bank is the main building on the right and its full title is visible at the top of the ground floor windows. It is difficult to see but it has been made by separate letters fixed to a frame which is attached to the frieze on top of the old bank name. Because it is not flat on the face of the building a shadow is casf showing (particularly) the letters of the word "BANK" diagonally down one of the pillars. Above the last two windows can be seen the original carved name of "Union Bank of Lond(on)" - full of interest, and colour.
